Hello, my name is Gayle Shaffer, founder and owner of GSProfessionalOrganizer, LLC. Before becoming a Professional Organizer, I enjoyed many years working for a major, multinational corporation as both an engineer and then a financial executive. My educational training as both an engineer and in finance gave me an excellent foundation for organized and logical thinking and working. After leaving the corporate world, I started a direct mail catalog business and a property management business. This hands-on experience as a small business owner gives me insight into the day to day issues faced by entrepreneurs and working mothers.

Having moved four times in fifteen years, overseas and between states, remodeling houses along the way, I have personal experience in handling household moves, downsizing, upsizing and everything in between.

I am a member of NAPO, National Association of Professional Organizers and AADMM, American Association of Daily Money Managers. I participate in numerous community groups: American Cancer Society, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Global Volunteers and Hospice and Palliative Care of Westchester.

My goal for my clients is to create a less stressful, more enjoyable and productive life by teaching them how to organize and manage their home and environment in a more effective manner.
